The easy way to understand the problem

5 Aug 2005 Reviewer: A reader This book should be read by anybody who thinks they are developing or have a problem with alcohol. It has saved me from a continuing downward spiral - and no I wasn't what most people think of as an alcoholic, indeed I only ever drank in the evenings and because of my increasing tolerance rarely beacame drunk in the accepted meaning of the word. However, I realised that my alcohol consumption was ever so slowly increasing. And it wasn't because of social pressures. I was one of the incredible growing band in Britain of people who buy a bottle (or 2/3/4 etc) of wine and maybe a bottle of spirit for home consumption - just a glass or two (or 3/4/5 etc) while watching telly, just to help me relax, yeah right!

Please read this book from page one to the end. It is essential you don't skip pages and essential you give it all your attention with no distractions in the background. Allen Carr offers more sense about alcohol than anyone I have ever heard or read. I have waited until now (three months without a drink) before giving my honest impression of this book just in case there were flaws. IT DOES WORK. And IT DOESN'T make you feel deprived of drink, indeed it is a great feeling once you realise you are free from the craving of having to drink alcohol.

Wonder if you have a drink problem? Before you read the book, stop drinking for a few days and if you cannot manage that without feeling deprived or having cravings for a drink then you do indeed have a drink problem. Buy the book immediately and change your life.
